Stores and categories

Categories

Categories are the aisles the shopping list is grouped by, like Produce or Dairy & Eggs.

1. Open the menu (gear), Preferences, then Shopping, then Categories.
2. The household owner can add your own, rename them, move them, and delete them.
3. Default categories come with the app. You cannot rename them, but you can hide ones you never use with the eye icon.
4. Tap the number beside a category to see every item in it.

Stores

Every store is laid out differently, so each store has its own aisle order.

1. Open Preferences, then Shopping, then Stores.
2. Type a store name and tap Add.
3. Tap the store to open its aisles, then drag the grip beside each one into the order you walk the store. The arrows work too.
4. On the shopping list, pick the store from the menu under the progress bar.

Anyone in the household can set up stores. Only the owner changes categories.
